Management Team

NovaPro's corporate management team has substantial business, finance and technology experience. Each member has achieved a high level of expertise in his or her particular area. The members of NovaPro's team include:

Randall Goss
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, (Dallas, TX)

Randall Goss is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Risk. Prior to founding the Company in 1985, Mr. Goss began his career as a certified public accountant for Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) where he co-authored the book "Accounting and Auditing of Financial Institutions." Mr. Goss became a licensed insurance agent in 1980, managing general agent in 1982, and excess and surplus lines agent in 1983. In 1996, he formed Empower Media Group, Inc., then acquired majority ownership and control of Texas Business Magazine and The Met Newspaper. Mr. Goss graduated cum-laude from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor in Business Administration and is extensively involved in many civic, charitable and political organizations.

Russ Whitmarsh
Chief Operating Officer, (San Diego, CA)

Mr. Whitmarsh began his career in 1983 as a multi-line field adjuster with A.L. Widsom & Associates, after attending the University of San Diego on a basketball scholarship. In 1988 he became a partner in A.L. Widsom & Associates and J.S. Ward & Co, which eventually became NovaPro Risk Solutions. He currently directs all aspects of the branch operations at NovaPro Risk Solutions. Mr. Whitmarsh also supports the CEO and other members of corporate management with a variety of corporate administration functions.

Ian D. Packer
Chief Financial Officer, (Dallas, TX)

Ian Packer is the Managing Partner of U.S. Risk. Ian has over 21 years of experience as both an investor and operating executive in the financial services industry. Ian co-founded Tobat Group, LLC in 1999 and has been responsible for the investment and management of both its private and public equity funds since that time. Tobat Group's investment funds focus exclusively on the financial services industry with a heavy emphasis on insurance. Ian has played key roles in the financing, strategy and ongoing development of the firm's private equity investments and continues to be active in the operations and management of the companies that remain in the Tobat portfolio.

Christine M. Gray
Director of Business Development, (Tustin, CA)

Ms. Gray began her career in 1989 as a workers compensation adjuster with Pacific States Casualty in Chino, CA. She subsequently worked for AIGCS in various claims positions including Account Management and Risk Management Information Systems. In 1999 she joined Marsh Inc. to work directly with their RMIS team throughout the Western Region. Christine spent several years in the Fraud and Special Investigations Fields and as an Account Manager with large TPA's. She was working a National TPA just prior to joining NovaPro Risk Solutions in June 2009. She has over 20 years experience within the insurance industry, more specifically in the field of claims, account management and business development. Ms. Gray currently supports all NovaPro Risk Solutions offices with obtaining their business development goals.
